Concordia Colleges achieved 8 positions in Annual Prize Distribution of Inter College Games Session, organized by Lahore Board Sports Department.
To commend the consistent efforts of students who excelled in sports during 2019-2020, Lahore Board Sports Department organised the Annual prize distribution for Inter College Games Session on 4th February 2021 at Govt. Post Graduate College, China Scheme, Lahore. Chairperson Lahore Board Irfana Nadeem, and Controller Examination Rubina Iqbal were Chief guests on the occasion. Dean Academic Concordia colleges Dr. Tahir Abbas, Director Sports Nawaz and Academics team of Concordia Colleges were also present.
The ceremony started with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Later on, the event was initiated by a welcome address, followed by prize distribution. Concordia Colleges scored positions in the following fields: 1st position in Volleyball, 2nd positions in Football, Kabaddi, Taekwondo, and Tug of War, and 3rd positions in Karate, Weightlifting, and Cycling.
In total, Concordia College earned 8 positions in games. Sports Director of Lahore Board appreciated the participation of Concordia Colleges and Dr. Tahir Abbas and Saba Naveen also got the prizes from the Lahore Board. Also, chief guest Irfana Nadeem in her address shed light on the importance of sports and wished winners for their future success.
