Inspector General Police (IGP) Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar has said that rules and law is being completely complied in the process of identifying and action against the suspects involved in the incidents of May 9 incidents.
While addressing a news conference in Lahore on Monday, he stated that May 9 attacks were clearly instigated by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leadership while inciting the workers on social media.
Dr. Usman Anwar said the targets were pre-set and planned at a specific central point.
He said 708 people have been identified in the Jinnah House attack and 125 have been arrested.
The IGP Punjab said that no unjustified action has been taken in May 9 vandalism.
