Commissioner Sargodha Dr. Farah Masood directed FESCO, SNGPL, PTCL and other departments to secure their installations along the routes of mourning processions. She was presiding over a meeting in her committee room to review the performance of departments in the context of Muharram. The meeting was attended by Additional Commissioner Shahbaz Hussain Naqvi, Additional Deputy Commissioner Bilal Feroze Joyia, Chief Executives of FESCO, PTCL, Sui Gas, NTCL, Highways, Corporation and other concerned departments. The Commissioner said that anti-state elements were active during the days of Muharram so the departments field staff need to be vigilant and ready to deal with any kind of emergency. She directed to fix the FESCO hanging wires and transformers.
