Commissioner urges early completion of Bakriyal

Hazara Commissioner, Riaz Khan Mehsood has said that 16 years passed away since the year 2005 horrible earthquake but new Balakot city Bakriyal Township has not been completed so far. All the stakeholders should search its instant construction solution.

This he said while addressing a high level meeting keeping in view the City Bakriyal Township construction held in his office, Monday.

Hazara Commissioner said that the motive for the immediate construction of New Balakot, city Bakriyal was to facilitate the affected residents of Balakot.

He stressed over the issue apprised the participant officers that main motive was to immediate rehabilitation of the affectees, hence, they should accelerate to complete such project instead any delay, adding that a comprehensive plan should be prepared in the upcoming session of the meeting is must.

He said that consultation with the Tourism Department liable to be considered as well as included in the plan.

However, a task has been yielded to the departments concerned, so following the same strategy they should implement as it is.

Meanwhile, the participant’s briefed about the plan pertaining to New City of Bakriyal Township including the work previously completed on the site.
