Commissioner Karachi Muhammad Iqbal Memon along with Deputy Commissioner East Raja Tariq Chandio, Administrator DMC East Rahmatullah Sheikh, Director DM, Tauqeer Abbas and Director Advertisenent Hammad N D Khan and others inspected the camp set up for flood affectees in Sachal Goth and distributed food and other relief materials to the flood affectees which provided by Agha Khan Community and University Hospital.
Commissioner Karachi Muhammad Iqbal Memon inquired about the problems faced by the flood affectees during the interaction, on which the flood affectees told him that they are being taken care of, the things they need, including food and drink, are being provided to them. Especially he praised in great words to Administrator DMC East, Rahmatullah Sheikh for the facilities which provided by him.
Commissioner Karachi said that the Sindh government is playing its role in providing all possible help to the flood affectees in this hour of crisis. He thanked those who are participating in relief works which providing easiness to affectees.
Administrator DMC East Rehmatullah Sheikh briefed the Commissioner Karachi about the arrangements being made by DMC East for the flood affectees including relief and medical facilities and said that DMC East has been striving since the first day of establishment of relief camps providing all possible facilities to the flood affectees.
After daily visit of relief camps Practical steps are being taken according to necessity of flood affectees, He added.
