Administrator D.M.C East Rahmatullah Sheikh has said that tree planting is the only and sustainable solution to the environmental problems. Carrying out tree planting campaigns with tradition that will definitely help meet the needs of the city’s trees,
He expressed these views while inspecting tree plantation campaign at University Road and the construction and repair work of a culvert on the drain in Mahmoodabad.
Superintendent Engineer M&E Mubeen Sheikh, Director Municipal Services Tauqeer Abbas, Executive Engineer M&E Imtiaz Bhutto, Executive Engineer B&R Jamshed Zone Salman Memon, Director Parks Agha sameer and others also were accompanied him.
While inspecting the construction of Mahmoodabad culvert and drain, he said that the long standing problems of the people can be solved only by resolving them by phased manner.
He also said that efforts are being made to utilize the available resources in such a way as to ensure maximum resolution of local body issues. Performances of different departments are commendable. In the same spirit, we will make District East the best district of Karachi together with Municipal Commissioner Fahim Khan and other officers.
