Mercury drops in Quetta
Islamabad—Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) Monday forecast mainly cold and dry weather for most parts of the country during next 24 hours.
According to the synoptic situation, continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. Shallow foggy conditions are expected to prevail over plain areas of Punjab during morning hours.
Meanwhile, the Quetta Met Office has forecast a dry and cold weather for the provincial capital during next 24 hours. On Monday, the highest maximum temperature 17 centigrade and the lowest minimum -01 centigrade were recorded in the metropolis.
The dry weather has been forecast for rest of the region. The minimum temperatures recorded during the last 24 hours were Skardu -06 C, Kalat -04 C, Hunza -03 C, Kalam, Astore, Gilgit and Quetta -01 C.
