Cold and dry weather likely to prevail over most parts of the country while very cold in Gilgit-Baltistan and north Balochistan. Temperatures of some major cities recorded on Sunday. Islamabad and Murree four degree centigrade, Lahore ten, Karachi fifteen, Peshawar and Muzaffarabad six, Quetta zero and Gilgit minus two degree centigrade.
According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy and very cold weather is expected in Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, Baramulla, Leh, while cold and dry weather in Jammu. Temperature recorded this morning:
Srinagar, Pulwama and Baramulla minus one degree centigrade, Jammu nine, Leh minus six, Anantnag and Shopian zero degree centigrade.
The Met Office has forecast cold and dry weather in most parts of Balochistan during the next 24 hours. According to the Met Office, the minimum temperature in Quetta was recorded at -1.5 degree centigrade and – 5.5 degree centigrade in Ziarat on Sunday.—INP
