Co-curricular activities integral part of education, PU VC

Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood has said that co-curricular activities are an essential part of education, which develops the characteristics of students. He was addressing the prize distribution ceremony of inter-departmental co-curricular competitions 2024 organized by Punjab University Directorate of Students Affairs at Al Raazi Hall here on Friday. On this occasion, Registrar Dr Ahmed Islam, Director Students Affairs Dr Muhammad Ali Klasra, faculty members and a large number of students were present. In his address, PU VC Dr Khalid Mahmood said that due to admissions on merit on co-curricular activities, the students of PU are achieving success at national and international level. He said that Allah Almighty has placed some qualities in every person which makes him unique from others. He said that Punjab University Department of Student Affairs is the best training platform for co-curricular competitions from which future leaders will be prepared. He congratulated the students who performed

brilliantly in the competitions and appreciated the efforts of the Director Dr Muhammad Ali Kalasra and his team. Dr Muhammad Ali Kalasra said that interdepartmental competitions were organized to highlight the hidden talent of students.
