Islamabad—Chairman All Pakistan Compressed Natural Gas Association (APCNGA) Ghiyas Abdull-ah Paracha Tuesday said CNG stations in the Federal Capital and Punjab would reopen from Wednesday after a two-day closure.
All CNG stations operating in the capital and across the province were closed down from 6 am Monday due to maintenance of a FSRU (Floating Storage Regasification Unit) LNG terminal.
“All CNG stations in Punjab including Islamabad will be opened and resume CNG sale from 6 am tomorrow (Wednesday) as the maintenance work of the FSRU Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) terminal has been completed,” Paracha told media. Answering a question, he said the association was finalizing modalities to import its own LNG for ensuring uninterrupted supply to CNG outlets throughout the year.
