Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, issued a heartfelt message on the occasion of Youm-e-Istehsal, paying tribute to the resilient people of occupied Kashmir. Shah expressed solidarity with the Kashmiris, acknowledging their courage in the face of Indian oppression and brutality.

The Chief Minister emphasized that the entire nation is observing Youm-e-Istehsal with a firm resolve. He condemned India’s illegal actions on August 5, 2019, which stripped Jammu and Kashmir of its special status, in violation of United Nations resolutions and international laws.

Shah highlighted that the revocation of Articles 370 and 35A exposed India’s true nature. He called upon the international community to play a crucial role in addressing the severe human rights violations in Kashmir.

The Sindh government, he affirmed, will continue to support the Kashmiri people’s struggle for freedom. He concluded by stating that sustainable peace in the subcontinent hinges on resolving the Jammu and Kashmir dispute. “We do not recognize India’s baseless decision on occupied Kashmir,” reiterated Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.
