Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Ali Amin while calling for the early release of the party supremo and incarcerated prime minister Imran Khan whom he said was held in illegal and baseless cases, demanded a constitution of a judicial commission to investigate the cipher case and alleged rigging in recently-held general elections. He said we should not be made to seek our rights forcefully.

Addressing a public rally in Peshawar, as party leaders and workers staged nationwide protests against alleged rigging in February 8 general election and stealing of mandate, the Chief Minister said a conspiracy was hatched to oust the PTI-led federal government in 2022.

“One day all conspirators will be exposed,” CM Gandapur said, demanding Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) QaziFaez Isa to form a judicial commission on Cipher at the earliest. Referring to alleged rigging in February 8 general elections, Ali Amin Gandapur said that the PTI won the polls as per the Form 45s while demanding a judicial inquiry into “result tempering”.

He also lamented the Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) decision of not allocating reserved seats to Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC), saying that distributing claimed seats for minorities and women among other political parties was illegal and unconstitutional.

Gandpur lamented that under a planned conspiracy the PTI was stripped off its iconic election symbol Bat and our workers including female were put behind the bar for the crimes they never committed yet despite all that party emerged as the largest party in the February 8 polls but its majority was converted into minority through farms 47 that was a shameful act.

He said the person who illegally received a luxurious car for the Toshakhana was made the President of the country a day earlier while Maryam Nawaz who having no position in the government received a costly car from Toshakhana, was made the Chief minister of Punjab adding Imran was being punished for receiving a watch legally.

He said certain forces were abrogating the constitution again and again for their vested interests saying all those playing with the constitution would not be spared. Gandapur said we will keep raising our voice for our constitutional rights adding “ we will take our rights at all costs”.
