The PML-N lawmakers and leaders are disgruntled with the party policies like never before as one more MPA Azhar Abbas Chandia met with Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and expressed displeasure over the PML-N’s party line against state institutions.
The development came two days after PML-N Balochistan President Abdul Qadir Baloch decided to quit the party. He took the decision after PML-N’s decision not to invite former Balochistan chief minister Sanaullah Zehri to the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) power show in Quetta.
Azhar Abbas Chandia briefed Chief Minister Usman Buzdar about the problems of his constituency and expressed confidence in Usman Buzdar’s policies. Chandia was elected on PP-269 (Muzaffargarh-II) constituency in 2018 general elections.
The chief minister said for the first time, resources have been diverted to Muzaffargarh and other cities of South Punjab. “National Institutions are our pride and conspiracy will be thwarted. The opposition parties are cutting down the tree on which they are sitting and the attitude of opposition leaders is against the national interest,” Buzdar added.
Earlier, five PML-N MPAs met with the Punjab chief minister, included Mian Jaleel Sharqpuri, Ch Ashraf Ali Ansari, Muhammad Ghiasuddin, Nishat Ahmad Khan Daha, and Muhammad Faisal Khan Niazi. The MPAs briefed the chief minister of the problems and pending development schemes in their constituencies while the CM assured them of resolving the issues.
On the other hand, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said the opposition parties are frustrated and the elements bent upon hurting national interest are devoid of intellect and wisdom.
The CM maintained the opposition leaders lack political acumen and the unnatural alliance is going to disintegrate soon. The opposition alliance has lost ground and it is better the opposition should realize facts, the CM advised. Those who are talking against the institutions for the sack of regaining power are not loyal to the nation, he said. The politics demand dignity and suave behaviour and the indecent style of politics will not succeed. The state institutions are the pride of the nation and the PTI government will not let their respect down, the CM concluded.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar expressed deep sense of sorrow over the death of the father of Muhammad Asif, senior stenographer posted in PR Section of the CM Office. He has extended sympathies to the heirs and prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace.
