A Contract Signing Ceremony between Competitive and Livable City of Karachi (CLICK), Sindh Investment Department (SID), Government of Sindh and EY Ford Rhodes was held under the chairmanship of Special Assistant to Chief Minister (SACM) for Investment and Public Private Partnership Projects, Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar.
Secretary Investment, Bilal Ahmed also graced the occasion with his presence.
The contract was signed between Project Director CLICK, Anwar Ali Shar representing Government of Sindh and Partner Abbas Ali representing EY Ford Rhodes, Pakistan.
The Sindh Investment Department’s CLICK Project is about creating a favorable business environment by simplifying the business procedures, automating the processes, providing single-window operations (S-BOSS) to business people which will facilitate in provision of licenses, permits, and no-objections (NOCs) certificates online.
SACM for Investment and PPP Syed Qasim Naeed Qamar said that the EY Ford Rhodes’ appropriate national and international experience would support in bringing the required technological advancement to bring ease of doing business which would in turn attract the investment in the province.
The ceremony concluded with recognizing the World Bank Group for its assistance in the reform process and appreciation to the Project Director-CLICK, Anwar Ali Shar and CLICK team for their diligent efforts under the headship of Secretary Investment Bilal Ahmed.
