CJP urged to take suo-moto notice of Arshad murder

Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) has urged the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Umar Ata Bandial to take suo-moto notice into issue of murder of journalist Arshad Sharif.

In a letter dispatched to the CJP, the PFUJ appealed him to constitute a commission headed by a senior sitting judge for investigation into the brutal murder. The letter read that the journalist community was in deep shock over murder of Arshad Sharif and entire nation wants questions relating the incident.—INP

The PFUJ letter said that how many more journalists we have to sacrifice.

It said that family of Arshad Sharif and journalist community has deep trust in court and it should provide justice to them through transparent investigation.
