Civilian martyred, 9 injured in Indian firing

At least one civilian was martyred, and nine others including women and children got injured as Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing of mortars and artillery guns along the Line of Control (LoC) Tuesday evening, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
Indian troops deliberately targeted civil population in Danna, Dhddnial, Jura, Lipa, Sharda and Shahkot sectors, according to the military’s media wing.
The martyred citizen was identified as 26-year-old Nouman Ahmed.
The injured were evacuated to nearby hospitals. The ISPR added that Pakistan Army troops responded effectively to the violations and there were reports of the death of three Indian soldiers and multiple injuries besides damage to their posts.
