Karachi residents are urged to prepare for turbulent weather as the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) issues a warning of thunderstorms and heavy rain forecasted for this weekend, April 13th and 14th.
According to the PMD, a westerly wave is set to sweep across Karachi, bringing with its thunderstorms and heavy downpours. This weather pattern, expected to persist until April 15th, will impact not only Karachi but also the western and southern regions of Pakistan.
The Met Department’s prediction includes the entrance of westerly winds into these regions.
