The Deputy Superintendent Police of Traffic Mazhar Farid on Monday has urged upon the citizen of every age to use helmets while riding the motor cycles in order to avoid fatal injuries during accidents.
While talking to the newsmen in his office, he opined that use of helmets by the motor cycle riders could considerably reduce the number of casualties in traffic mishaps.
He said that parents and teachers could play great role in increasing awareness among the youngsters in this regard. He also said that use of the licenses by everyone during driving must also appreciated and encouraged at every social level. He said that the trend of driving vehicles without driving license must also be discouraged by all social circles.
