Chinese official visits Karachi airport blast site

A Chinese official, accompanied by Karachi police officers, visited the site of the suicide bombing near Karachi Airport, where Chinese nationals lost their lives. The visit took place in the wake of the tragic incident, with the official meeting with SSP Malir and other law enforcement personnel.  During the site visit, officials provided an overview of the attack details, presented gathered evidence, and briefed the official on the preliminary report regarding the incident. Investigative authorities revealed that they had identified the vehicle used in the attack, linking it to an individual named Shah Fahd, a resident of Nushki in Balochistan.

The bombing was confirmed to be a suicide attack, utilizing approximately 70 to 80 kilograms of explosive material. Authorities have expanded their investigation into Balochistan, utilizing NADRA records to gather more information. They have obtained Shah Fahd’s identification documents and are currently reviewing data from SIM cards registered in his name.
