ISLAMABAD – A delegation from the Standing Committee of the 14th National People’s Congress (NPC) of China, led by Vice Chairman Cai Dafeng, arrived in Islamabad on Wednesday.
The delegation was received at the airport by Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah, along with Convener of the Pakistan-China Parliamentary Friendship Group, MNA Romina Khurshid Alam.
According to the details, the Chinese delegation is visiting Pakistan from May 20 to 21 to participate in commemorative events marking the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China.
The officials said the visit reflects ongoing parliamentary engagement and close cooperation between the two countries, particularly in strengthening bilateral ties and institutional linkages.
During the visit, both sides are expected to take part in events celebrating the long-standing friendship and strategic partnership between Pakistan and China.
