China keen to invest $3b in Ravi Project

China has expressed deep interest to make investments of three billion dollars in Ravi Riverfront Urban Development Project.
The information was shared with a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad today regarding Ravi Urban and Bundal Island projects.
The meeting was informed this does not include any loan.
The Prime Minister was also informed that an investment consortium ANGCC has also offered an investment of five billion dollars in the project on partnership basis.
On the occasion Prime Minister Imran Khan said that Ravi Riverfront is historically the most unique project of its kind in Pakistan which will provide a solution to Lahore s growing problems.
He said with the completion of project, the citizens of Lahore will get clean drinking water, proper management of sewerage and clean environment.
Prime Minister Imran said that the citizen’s will be provided residential facilities equipped with modern facilities and project will create vast employment opportunities.
