Punjab Senior and Food Minister Abdul Aleem Khan on Wednesday said that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s decision to make electricity cheaper for the industrial sector would help boost the industry.
“This decision will prove to be a breakthrough for the sector, increasing employment and exports and the country will soon stand on its feet.”
In a his tweet, the Punjab senior minister said that in the current situation when the world is in recession, Prime Minister Imran Khan with his far-sighted policies yielding positive results. He said that Pakistan’s economy is booming and investment is increasing day by day. He said the country’s leading industrialists and independent observers have appreciated the current policies of the government. Abdul Aleem Khan said that the profit of Rs5.3 billion in the cement industry alone is a new record while the 22% increase in the export of pharmaceuticals is also encouraging. He said that with the grace of Allah Almighty, Pakistan is moving towards a brighter future. The food minister said that due to the initiatives taken by the present government for the industrial sector, the country is moving in the right direction and it is certain that the next three years, success and prosperity will be achieved. Abdul Aleem Khan said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has lead the country on the right track as per his promises and is being taken out of “ad-hocism” for sustainable development and progress for which the industrial sector is the key and 50% relief in electricity rates to the sector is a historic step about which every patriot Pakistani is happy.
