ISLAMABAD – The Pakistan Bureau of Statistics has released the latest figures for cement and steel prices, showing minor fluctuations across the country during the last week.
Cement and steel prices play a crucial role in Pakistan’s construction and infrastructure sectors, directly influencing the cost of building projects.
As essential materials for residential, commercial, and industrial construction, fluctuations in their prices can impact the overall economy.
When cement and steel prices rise, it increases the cost of construction, affecting homebuyers, developers, and even public infrastructure projects. Conversely, stable or reduced prices can stimulate growth in the real estate sector, making housing more affordable.
