CDA’s operation against encroachments in G-11/2,

On the direction of the management of Capital Development Authority, the Enforcement Department on Tuesday conducted operation in Sector G-11/2 of Islamabad with the assistance of district administration and Islamabad police. Operations were carried out to eradicate the encroachments which were established beyond the plot lines.

According to the details, a massive operation was carried out on the complaints of the residents of Sector G-11/2 on the instructions of the Chairman Capital Development Authority. As a result, encroachments in front of more than 350 residential houses located in 22 streets were demolished with the help of heavy machinery. Several car sheds, fences and entrances gates built on government land were demolished with the help of heavy machinery.

It is pertinent to mention here that these encroachments were disrupting the movement of residents and the flow of traffic. After the operation, foothpaths and streets were opened for pedestrian movement and traffic.
