CDA union to help resolve issues of businessmen

Led by Secretary General CDA Labor Union Ch. Muhammad Yasin, a delegation visited Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry on Sunday to congratulate the new Office Bearers of Chamber and assured all possible cooperation to ICCI for resolving the CDA related key issues of the business community.

The delegation comprised Aurangzeb Khan President, Umar Jiwana Vice President and others.

Addressing the delegation, President ICCI Muhammad Shakeel Munir said that CDA Board in August 2020 had taken a decision to allow renewal of industrial plots @Rs.100,000/per kanal, but it has not been implemented as yet because the decision was forwarded to National Coordination Committee on Housing, Construction & Development for endorsement.

He said that CDA was an independent authority and it should immediately implement its Board decision to resolve the longstanding issue of lease renewal of industrial plots.

The ICCI President said that roads in industrial areas including Kahuta industrial triangle were badly broken and urged that CDA should focus on better development of markets and industrial areas to facilitate the growth of business.
