CBS, VAF sign MoU to establish butterfly, firefly gardens


MoU inked between Chand Bagh School (CBS) and Voice of Animals Foundation (VAF) to establish butterfly and firefly gardens at CBS

Chand Bagh School and Voice of Animals Foundation inked an MoU to work together for the rights and welfare of animals in CBS campus.

Both organizations have agreed to work together to establish Pakistan’s first of its kind butterfly garden and later firefly garden at CBS campus.

They have also agreed to make CBS campus animal safe premises and arrange awareness seminars and conferences.

The MoU was signed by the Principal CBS Ch Muhammad Afzal and President Voice of Animals Foundation Abdul Ahad.

The Principal Ch Muhammad Afzal said that this initiative shall help in promoting good environment and creating future environment leaders.

He further said that CBS is a boarding school and we maintain an international standard in education, grooming and training as well, this activity shall help motivate students to play an active role in environment and become future environment leaders.

President VOAF Abdul Ahad said that this will help us to nurture the butterflies and fireflies and shall also help students to conserve these precious species.

He said that this mission shall continue to all the institutes of Pakistan and beyond.

The Vice Principal CBS Akhter Hussain, Masood Ahmed, Shams ul Haq and Dr Majeed Zafar were also present at the MoU signing ceremony.
