An exhibition of sports cars and demonstrations by drivers was held in the capital city of Kabul.

The players performed maneuvers to show their skills.

The Head of the Federation of Driving Sports, Hashmatullah Rahbar, said that the exhibition was held to encourage the drivers and to promote car shows in the country.

“It has been five years since this federation has been active. We have had some good achievements but due to challenges we were not able to continue our activity. Now, with the support of the National Olympic Committee, we restarted our activities,” he said.

Meanwhile, the participants who attended the exhibition complained about the lack of facilities.

“We don’t have supporters and standard fields for the sport. I call on the government to address our problems,” said Adibullah, a driver.

The sports car federation has 250 members and is active in 6 of 34 provinces of Afghanistan.—Tolonews
