Corruption has hollowed out the foundations of the country and institutions and the people have to bear the the burden. On the instructions of Chief Executive IESCO Dr. Muhammad Amjad Khan, a special campaign has been launched to eradicate corruption from IESCO. In this connection he passed directives to all officers and staff that customer services with devotion and honesty is our religious, moral and professional duty and if respected customers are harassed or money is demanded for any official work such officers and staff have absolutely no place in IESCO because a few black sheep cannot undermine the dignity of the honest formations of IESCO.
He requested the valuable IESCO consumers that if any IESCO officer of field staff create hindrance regarding installation on new electricity connection or in any other matter with some intention like bribe etc please immediately report about these culprits to the concerned circle, division or sub division incharge so that with the cooperation of the consumers, departmental action could be taken against those few black sheep in the organization who not only cause difficulties to the consumers but also the organization for achieving their personal negative goals.
Chief executive also requested the consumers to make all types of electricity related payments in the respective banks as no IESCO officer or staff member is authorized to accept money for government work.For quick redressal of corruption related complaints of customers Deputy Director Mr. Mobeen Sikandar has been nominated as the focal person at IESCO Head Office and customers can call him call on his telephone number 051-9252910 during working hours so that departmental action can be taken against these elements by taking timely action.
