Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on Wednesday allowed a flight from Greece and UK bringing in 31 and 41 deportees respectively.
A charter flight carrying 31 Pakistanis deported by Greece landed at Islamabad International Airport. Greek police officers with deported Pakistanis along with medical staff also reached Islamabad on the flight but the CAA did not allow the crew staff to come out from the flight.
At the request of the Greek embassy, ??the Foreign Ministry wrote a letter to the Civil Aviation Authority for permission of a special charter flight. In the letter, the Director Civil Aviation Authority Air Transport had issued NOC for the arrival of the charter flight at Islamabad.
The NOC issued directed implementation of corona SOPs for flight crews and incoming passengers.
