Amid reports of leadership dispute, BushraBibi, the wife of incarcerated former Prime Minister Imran khan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM Ali Amin Gandapur on Sunday led the PTI convoy to Islamabad for their planned protest though all the road links including Motorways and G T road have been closed by the federal government to frustrate PTI supporters efforts to reach D-Chowk in the federal capital that has been sealed all together.

According to the schedule, Ali Amin Gandapur was designated to lead the convoy. However, unconfirmed reports say the former first lady was insisting on taking charge that led to some misunderstanding among the top leadership. The convoy, under the leadership of Ali Amin Gandapur and Sheikh WaqasAkram, is heading towards the capital, with BushraBibi traveling alongside the workers.

In response to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) protest in Islamabad, authorities have completely sealed the entry and exit points of the twin cities, Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Besides, all the bus terminals have been sealed by the district administration of Islamabad leading to great hardships for thousands of People who shuttle between Islamabad and various cities especially at the end of the weekend.

On the other hand PTI Central Information Secretary Sheikh WaqasAkram confirmed that the wife of Imran khan, BushraBibi was part of the PTI convoy leaving Peshawar, alongside workers traveling to Islamabad for the ongoing protest.

Sheikh WaqasAkram emphasized the importance of solidarity during this time, stating, “The workers cannot be left alone at this moment.” He further added that if PTI expects workers to bring their families, then it would be only fitting for Khan’s family to be the first to participate in the march.

Akram expressed confidence that the goals set by Imran Khan will be successfully achieved, despite the ongoing challenges. The convoy continues its journey as PTI remains determined in its call for protest in Islamabad.
