Boosting trade, investment ties with Italy in diverse sectors need of hour: PM

Caretaker Prime Minister Anawaar-ul-Haq Kakar acknowledging the significance of longstanding friendly ties of Pakistan with Italy has termed the boosting trade, investment and cooperation in diverse areas including migration and mobility, agricultural technology, education as well as tourism a need of hour.

He was talking to outgoing Ambassador of Italy to Pakistan Andreas Ferrarese, who paid a farewell call on him and discussed with him issues of bilateral interests.

Premier Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar appreciated the contributions of Italian ambassador to strengthening bilateral relations, noting his efforts to foster economic ties and facilitate cooperation in various fields.

Italian ambassador Andreas Ferrarese thanked the prime minister for receiving him and expressed gratitude for the excellent cooperation he received throughout his stay in Pakistan.

He also briefed Prime Minister Kakar on key developments during his tenure.
