In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, speakers have said that the BJP-RSS regime is destroying the lives of people by driving them to drug addiction through brutal policies and measures.

The speakers, including Hurriyat leader Dr Musaib, Prof Umar, Muhammad Akash and Govid Singh Khalsa speaking at a function in Srinagar said the harassment, demolition, political injustice and of unemployment issues are driving the youth in Jammu and Kashmir to drug addiction as they are taking drugs out of frustration inflicted at the hands of the brutal Modi regime in the territory.

They also said the selective and targeted demolition drive is another contributing factor, which is meant to uproot the people of Jammu and Kashmir mostly Muslim families from their lands.

They said arbitrary orders are issued by the Indian home ministry on weekly basis against the political and economic interests of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. They added that the Modi regime is destroying the houses, shops, business centers and properties of people in Jammu and Kashmir under the sinister agenda of settling outsiders in the territory.

The speakers called upon the state subjects of Kashmir to launch a joint battle against the anti-Jammu and Kashmir forces.
