Bitcoin slips to $43,913 as cryptos take a breather

The cryptocurrency market remained mixed on Wednesday, with the market capitalisation gaining 0.2 percent to reach $2.03 trillion.

As of 1315 hours GMT, the largest cryptocurrency Bitcoin’s (BTC) price slipped by 1.89 percent to reach $43,913. The crypto took a giant leap of over 16 percent a day earlier. With this latest dip in price, the market capitalisation of the biggest crypto has reached $831.5 billion. Bitcoin has gained 14.7 percent during the last seven days.

Ether, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalisation, edged slightly down by 0.22 percent to reach $2,975.—TLTP
