The cryptocurrency remained positive for the second day on Wednesday, with market capitalisation gaining 1.4 percent to reach $2.42 trillion.
However, the rally was not seen in the top two cryptocurrencies, while prices of others in the top ten positions made decent gains as of 1315 hours GMT. The largest cryptocurrency Bitcoin’s price remained almost flat at $48,675 by dropping 0.03 percent.
With this minor decrease in price, the market capitalisation of the biggest crypto has reached $920 billion. Ether, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalisation, shed 1.53 percent to reach $3,953.
