ISLAABAD – The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has expanded the list of banks to disburse per quarter installment of Rs10,500 to families registered with BISP Kafaalat Program.
Earlier this year, it signed an agreement with six banks for disbursement of funds among its 9.3 Million beneficiary households as earlier it was using services of only two banks. The decision was taken after several complaints were lodged by the people against the difficulties they faced while withdrawing their per quarter installment.
BISP Kafaalat Objectives
The Kafaalat initiative, which was launched in 2008, has emerged as the largest single cash transfer programme in Pakistan’s history. It has both short and long-term objectives.
The short term objective of the initiative is to protect marginalised people from negative effects of higher inflation, food crisis and poor economic growth.
The long term objectives of program is to eradicate extreme and chronic poverty, along with women empowerment, as set out in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The Benazir Income Support Program is currently providing financial assistance to over 9.3 million deserving families across the country and the authorities now aims at increasing the number to 10 million by next year.
Benazir Kafaalat Program Current Per Quarter Amount
According to the BISP, an amount of Rs10,500 per quarter is currently being distributed to needy women under the Benazir Kafalat Program.

The government has announced to increase the per quarter amount to Rs13,500 from January 2025.
Banks and ATMs for BISP Kafaalat Installment Withdrawals
There are 15 clusters and six banks are providing service to BISP beneficiaries. The registered BISP beneficiaries can withdraw the installment Rs10,500 per quarter from ATMs of Bank Al Falah, Bank of Punjab, Mobilink Microfinance, Telenor Microfinance Bank, Habib Bank Limited, and HBL Microfinance from across the country.
The beneficiaries can withdraw the quarterly installment from ATMs of the designated banks from all over Pakistan.
