KARACHI – Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) announced to jack-up Benazir Kafaalat programme stipends up to Rs13,500 from January 2025 to provide financial relief to beneficiaries.
The decision was announced by Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Chairperson Senator Rubina Khalid announced BISP will expand its reach to 10 million families by the end of this year.
The PPP leader thanked centre, especially Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for the increased budget allocation to cash transfer poverty reduction program. The surge in Rs3,000 Benazir Kafaalat stipend will start from January 2025.
The national program continues to remain a beacon of light for eligible families through Dynamic Registration Centers across the country, and is also re-evaluating previously registered households to assess their current socio-economic conditions.
She introduced the forthcoming Benazir Skill Training Program, which aims to provide training in line with both local and international standards. This initiative is designed to improve beneficiaries’ quality of life, empower them economically, and allow new deserving families to join the program.
Senator Rubina continues to provide crucial financial support to help families manage their everyday expenses. The program offers financial assistance primarily to women in low-income families, thereby recognizing and empowering them economically.
