LAHORE – In a bid to maintain transparency and ensure the integrity of the evaluation process, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has announced a strict ban on unauthorized entry at all marking centres across the province ahead of matric results 2025.
The notification, titled “Ban on Unauthorized Entry in Marking Centres,” underlines the board’s commitment to safeguarding the sanctity of paper marking and preventing undue influence or disruptions during the assessment phase.
It said only authorized personnel – including appointed head examiners, sub-examiners, and designated staff – will be granted access to the centres. All other individuals, including board employees without duty assignments, students, media representatives, or political figures, will be strictly prohibited from entering these restricted areas.
“This decision has been taken to ensure fairness in the marking process and prevent any external pressure or malpractice,” said the notification.
The notification also warned of strict disciplinary action against violators. This may include suspension of duties, blacklisting, or legal action under relevant education board regulations.
The BISE Lahore has urged all affiliated institutions and staff members to cooperate fully with the new directive and report any breach of the rules to the authorities. Following are the complete instructions:
