Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has announced the position holders for the HSSC Part II examinations 2026, putting the spotlight on students who achieved the highest marks in the overall competition as well as individual groups. The position-holder announcement comes ahead of the complete Class 12 result. Across Punjab, the HSSC Part II results are scheduled for September 23, 2026, at 10:00am, while position holders are being announced a day earlier.
The highest overall score was 1,158 marks, achieved jointly by:
- Mubashira Waseem — Government Degree College, Islamia College Road, Lahore
- Syed Muhammad Mohiuddin — Government College University Lahore
The second position was also shared. Ahmed Shaukat of Government College University Lahore and Muhammad Zunair Amjad of Punjab College of Science each scored 1,157 marks.
The third overall position went to Ayesha Bakhsh of KIPS Intermediate Girls College, Johar Town, with 1,156 marks.
Humanities Group
The Humanities results produced separate leading students among girls and boys.
Girls
Hafsa, daughter of Shah Rasool, topped the girls’ category with 1,102 marks from Iqra Huffaz Girls Higher Secondary School, Shah Jamal, Lahore.
She was followed by:
- Shafaah Abdul Samad — 1,100 marks — Iqra Huffaz Girls Higher Secondary School
- Maira Imran — 1,098 marks — Iqra Huffaz Girls Higher Secondary School
Boys
Salman Khan, son of Sardar Khan, led the boys’ Humanities category with 1,090 marks from Government College University Lahore.
The remaining top positions were secured by:
- Muhammad Zain Khan — 1,082 marks — Punjab College of Commerce & Science, Raiwind
- Ahsan Nawaz — 1,073 marks — Aspire College for Boys, Nankana Sahib
Commerce Group
The Commerce Group also saw separate position holders among female and male candidates.
Girls
Jaweria, daughter of Ghulam Muhayyudin, secured first position with 1,093 marks from Concordia College for Girls, Kasur.
Shimzah Mustafa, daughter of Ghulam Mustafa, followed with 1,080 marks from Punjab College for Girls, Sheikhupura.
Rabia Kiran, daughter of Muhammad Hussain Shaheen, took third place with 1,074 marks from Punjab College, Girls Campus, Airline Society.
Boys
The highest score among boys came from Muhammad Taha Bin Atif, son of Muhammad Atif Abdul Jabbar, who obtained 1,094 marks from Punjab College of Commerce, Muslim Town.
The other two positions went to:
- Ali Akbar — 1,076 marks — Concordia College for Boys, Kasur
- Ghulam Hamayoun Din — 1,070 marks — Punjab College of Commerce & Science, Raiwind
General Science Group
The General Science category featured several closely contested positions, including joint positions.
Girls
Samiyah Rizvi, daughter of Mussadiq Hussain, topped the girls’ General Science group with 1,143 marks from Government Degree College for Women, Sharqpur Sharif, Sheikhupura.
The second position was shared by:
- Mumtahina Rafiq — 1,138 marks — Punjab College for Girls, 2-KM Ganda Singh Road, Kasur
- Nimra Din Muhammad — 1,138 marks — Government Associate College for Women, Kot Radha Kishan, Kasur
Abreesham Kashif, daughter of Shahid Usman, secured third position with 1,136 marks from Punjab College for Women, Mughalpura, Lahore.
Boys
The first position among boys was jointly secured by Fareed Kamal Sharafat, son of Sharafat Ali, and Muhammad Ayan Kashif, son of Kashif Hussain. Both scored 1,141 marks.
Fareed Kamal Sharafat represented Punjab College of Information Technology, Old Muslim Town, while Muhammad Ayan Kashif appeared from Danish Higher Secondary School for Boys, Mianwali.
Syed Muhammad Murtaza Mehdi Naqvi, son of Syed Jabbar Haider Naqvi, secured second position with 1,133 marks from Government College University Lahore.
The third position was listed with 1,131 marks for Hafiz Adeel Ur Rehman, son of Hafiz Muhammad Latif Khan, and Muhammad Ayan Kashif. Hafiz Adeel Ur Rehman represented Government College of Science, Wahdat Road, Lahore, while Muhammad Ayan Kashif appeared from Punjab College for Boys, Minar-e-Pakistan, Lahore.
Pre-Engineering Group
The Pre-Engineering category was led by students from KIPS and Punjab College, alongside a top performer from Government College University Lahore.
Girls
Ayesha Bakhsh, daughter of Muhammad Bux Wassan, secured first position with 1,156 marks from KIPS Intermediate Girls College, Johar Town.
Irfa Fatima, daughter of Faisal Anwar Maan, stood second with 1,153 marks from KIPS College for Girls, Sheikhupura.
Haleema Abbas, daughter of Muhammad Abbas, obtained third position with 1,151 marks, also representing KIPS Intermediate Girls College, Johar Town.
Boys
Muhammad Hassan Ali Khan, son of Babar Ali Khan, topped the boys’ Pre-Engineering category with 1,154 marks from Punjab College, 271-2-C1, College Road, Township.
He was followed by:
- Muhammad Ahmad — 1,152 marks — Government College University Lahore
- Faizan Ezad — 1,150 marks — Punjab College of Science, 151-Ferozpur Road, Lahore
