GUJRANWALA – The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Gujranwala on Wednesday has released complete gazette for the Secondary School Certificate (9th Class) First Annual Examination 2026.
The Science Group had 169,137 candidates appearing in the examination, of whom 91,805 passed, giving an overall pass percentage of 54.28 percent.
Among regular candidates, 46.79 percent of males and 69.22 percent of females passed. The pass percentage for private candidates was 29.72 percent for males and 51.87 percent for females.
The General Group recorded an overall pass percentage of 28.85 percent. Out of 72,244 candidates who appeared, 20,839 were successful. Regular female candidates recorded a 36.29 percent pass rate, compared with 19.28 percent for regular males. Among private candidates, the pass percentages were 30.59 percent for females and 13.49 percent for males.
In the Computer Science Tech Group, 4,108 candidates appeared and 1,856 passed, producing a 45.18 percent pass percentage. Regular female candidates recorded a 65.86 percent pass rate, while regular males had a 33 percent rate.
The Health Sciences Tech Group recorded a 46.30 percent pass percentage, with 876 successful candidates out of 1,892. Female candidates had a pass rate of 56.75 percent, while the rate for males stood at 21.87 percent.
The Agriculture Sciences Tech Group recorded an 18.36 percent pass percentage, with 105 candidates passing out of 572. The Fashion Designing Tech Group recorded a 25.96 percent pass rate, with 318 successful candidates out of 1,225.
