Former foreign minister and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Monday stressed the need for making Pakistan a prosperous state. In his message on the eve of the country’s 76th independence day, which he shared on Twitter, he said that Pakistan should be a country where prosperity was not restricted to a few people.
“Rather everybody should benefit from it,” he emphasized.
“Today, as we celebrate Pakistan’s 76th Independence Day, let us commit to forging a Pakistan where the avenues to prosperity are open to all, regardless of circumstance. A Pakistan where the aspirations of our youth are realised. A Pakistan where we are stronger for our diversity. A Pakistan for everyone.”In another tweet he said: “Happy 76th Independence Day of Pakistan to all the countrymen, on this day we pay tribute to the freedom struggle led by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Leader of the People Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto taught us that “Neither mine nor aapka hum sab ka Pakistan” Inshallah we will move ahead with this ideology and defeat the politics of hatred and division.
