ISLAMABAD – Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a noticeable decline on Tuesday, as markets reopened after Eid ul Azha break.

Data shared by Sarafa Association shows price of gold per tola moved down to Rs352,300, by Rs6,100 from previous levels whereas rate for 10 grams of gold dipped by Rs5,230 to Rs302,040.

This decline comes amid previous high on June 5, when gold per tola had reached Rs358,400 after gaining Rs4,300 during the day. The bullion market was closed from June 6 to June 9 in observance of Eid-ul-Adha holidays.

On the international front, gold prices also declined, with rates dropping to $3,339 per ounce—down by $61—despite a $20 premium, according to APGJSA reports. Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable at Rs3,745 per tola, showing no change during this period.

Market analysts suggest that fluctuations in global gold prices continue to influence local rates, which are also affected by market holidays and religious observances.
