The National Highways and Motorway Police (NH&MP) on Tuesday foiled the smuggling of non-custom paid cigarettes, arrested two suspects and recovered 330 cartons worth Rs.50 million from the dumper. According to sector in charge NH&MP DSP Motorway Younas Khan, duty-free cigarettes were being smuggled from Swabi to Lahore through a dumper vehicle worth Rs 50 million. He said that two smugglers, Mashooq Ahmed and NiazWali both native of KPK were arrested by stopping the dumper near Haro Toll Plaza after successful action on GT Road.
