In December, the fateful evening witnessed the rays of hope of the Pakistani nation being set. Attempts were made to convince Shaheed Benazir Bhutto that her life was in danger in the country. Don’t come to Pakistan, but she was not ready to accept this phenomenon that in her country peoples can end her life. The last time she visited Lahore, an elderly journalist told her that the country was suffering from instability, unrest and chaos and that this was the right time for her to return home. But keeping all respect in mind, Shaheed Jamhooriat said that how long will we wait for the right time? The destiny of the compelled and helpless people of this country can be changed only with the restoration of democracy and by participating in these elections. Only their rights can be restored, how long can I sit idle, someone has to light a torch of hope in the end, thinking that I have entered the field without caring for my life, you pray for me.
There was a tragedy in Karachi on October 18 which was a message of fear and abandonment, but Benazir Bhutto fulfilled her promise to Shaheed Baba on April 3, 1979 to the last breath of her life that she would not leave the Pakistani people alone. The Quaid-e-Awam had written a letter to Bibi on her birthday saying that the paradise of Allah is under the feet of the mother. If you serve her, you will get paradise and the paradise of politics is under the feet of the people. She kept Shaheed Baba’s advice alive till the last moment of her life. The purpose of Ms. Shaheed’s life was the same that the people’s rule should be established in the country and the life of the people should have the basic rights for which they are longing today. When Ms. Shaheed stepped into the abyss of politics at the age of 24, she proved to be a moderate politician and a balanced figure, pursuing a broader national interest and unity rather than seeking revenge, saying that Shaheed Bhutto’s idea is to take revenge by restoring democracy so that the nation can express its grief and anger through voting. At present, the PPP is engaged in fulfilling the mission of Shaheed Mohtarma with all its mourning. The conspiracy that the enemy elements are currently engaged in to destabilize this atmosphere of mourning is, in fact, none other than spreading linguistic and regional hatred. The Pakistan Peoples Party, which has the potential to play a key role in uniting the four provinces of the country, will continue to fight till the last drop of blood until the mission of the Quaid-e-Awam and Shaheed-e-Jamhooriyat is completed. Keeping in view the numerical superiority of the big province, they are keeping an eye on the power. They have no interest in what the people of other provinces of Pakistan think and what conditions they demand for the federation. Country’s various linguistic, ethnic and regional units form the federation of the country. In the current situation, the federal forces have once again borne the brunt of the responsibility for the survival of the nation. It is the history of the PPP to face such challenges and its hardworking workers and top leadership have never hesitated to make sacrifices.
Bhutto family, along with their ‘Jiyalas’ sacrificed their lives with unparalleled pomp and splendor. Shaheed Bibi sacrificed herself to keep alive the golden principles of our tradition. She returned to protect the homeland and said that power is the gift of God and the trust of the people, for which restore democracy and give them a chance to flourish.
Take steps to make peaceful and transparent elections possible, which were compromised and not even provided the security that was the responsibility of the state for this world leader. Why the delicacy and sensitivity of this issue was not observed. Perhaps all this was done deliberately to deprive the nation of a leader who could keep the nation united. Those who think so may forget that the PPP is not just a political party or a mob but it is a tradition and a movement that will be presented to those who are harming the survival of the country. This movement will fulfill the mission and thoughts of Shaheed Bibi and will express its grief and anger through the ballot paper and every conspiracy that is being hatched against the people of this country will fail. Every tactic that will weaken the country and prove to be a failed state will prove to be a failed project. The people of my country are aware and have a good idea of who can protect their needs and priorities.
Those memories of my past days are a precious asset of my life and motivate me to be more active and active than ever. I remember when Bibi told me that now you are doing a good job in Punjab. It was the best reward of my services that my leader was giving me the status of being a thinker and party representative in today’s media age. I will serve as the media spokesperson of Shaheed Quaid till the last moment. For the party’s media campaign in Punjab, she told me that if she came to Lahore on January 6, she would take some time for me to come to her new home. I started preparing for it and planned to meet some columnist friends with her but man thinks something and God approves something else. The fateful evening of December 27 robbed us of a ray of hope and pushed us towards a terrible future.
My children accompanied me during their stay in Dubai in 2007 and met Shaheed Quaid. She told my children that if they have to do great things in life, they need the greatest encouragement. The Pakistani nation will definitely pass this test and under the leadership of Mr. Chairman Bilawal Bhutto, she will fulfill her mission. And will continue to play its role in strengthening democracy and the workers are the asset of the party. Obstacles between the worker and the leader must also be removed. On December 27, the enemies of the country tried to suppress a revolutionary voice and thought and the same revolutionary voice and thought has become the voice of the people of Pakistan today. December 27 is a day of renewal of the pledge as long as there is poverty, ignorance and unemployment in the country, the struggle will continue on the philosophy and manifesto given by Benazir Bhutto Shaheed. Let’s pledge today to play our role in strengthening democracy in this country according to the thinking given by Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. PDM leaders visited the grave of Ms. Benazir Bhutto and promised to leave no stone unturned until the poverty of the poor is eradicated and the philosophy of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Shaheed and Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed play their role according to their thinking. PPP workers and leaders are united under the leadership of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to get rid of the selected government. Pakistan Peoples Party will never compromise on the Constitution of 1973 and the 18th Amendment.
