The Bangladesh High Commission handed over 1,500kg of mangoes to a protocol officer of the Pakistan Foreign Ministry on Monday. This goodwill gift from the Prime Minister of Bangladesh has been accepted with thanks by Pakistan. High Commissioner Md Ruhul Alam Sidiqui said this gift of the Prime Minister will add “a new dimension to the diplomatic relations between the two brotherly countries and will further accelerate the development of mutual bilateral relations.”
According to diplomatic sources, this has been a first gift forwarded to Pakistan by Bangladesh in a long long time.—INP
