LAHORE—The Traffic Engineering and Transport Planning Agency (TEPA) of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) sealed 43 premises for violation of parking bylaws in different parts of Lahore.
Besides sealing the businesses, TEPA Enforcement Wing also removed illegal signboards from several properties during the operations on Nazria-e-Pakistan Road, Abdul Haq Road and Canal Bank Road.
The sealed premises include Bank Islami, Lahore Broast, Baskin Robbins, Khushi Sweets, The Educators, Churn Station, Qawali Night, Leopards Courier, Butt Karahi, Apotek Pharmacy, private clinic, bakeries, food outlets, offices and other businesses.
TEPA’s Director Enforcement II Jawad Kamran supervised the operations, which were carried out with the help of the Police.
As per the TEPA officials, several notices were served to the owners of these buildings before carrying out the operations.
LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed continuing indiscriminate operations against violations of parking bylaws, illegal signboards and encroachments in Lahore.
