In a significant milestone, the Balochistan Health Department is gearing up to launch its Health Card Program on November 1. In a press conference held in Quetta on Saturday, Program Manager Health Card, Asadullah Kakar said that the Balochistan government with the assistance of a leading insurance company, State Life Insurance, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to launch an eagerly anticipated healthcare initiative in the province.
He said that over two million families are set to receive extensive benefits through the newly introduced health card program in Balochistan. AsadullahKakar revealed that the computerized identity card issued by NADRA would be considered a health card simplifying access to healthcare services for the local population.
