Bail granted to PTI leader Amjad Afridi and brothers



The court of Karachi granted the bail of Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders Amjad Afridi, Babar Afridi and Danish in exchange of 50, 50,000 guarantee money, here on Thursday.

According to the details, Amjad Afridi and the arrested associates were produced in Anti-Terrorism Central Jail Court No. 16, Where PTI Sindh President Ali Zaidi, Leader of Opposition Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Shaikh and other leaders reached the court for solidarity.

Speaking to the media on this occasion, former federal minister Ali Zaidi said that everyone saw the spectacle that was staged in the election on 15th, today Amjad Afridi and his brothers have got bail. He said that Amjad’s brother’s eye has been lost due to violence, we will play our role in this matter with the whole party.

Opposition Leader Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Shaikh said that contesting election, preventing rigging is terrorism which we are all victims of, Amjad Afridi was tortured, a brother’s arm and head are broken, and the other brother lost his eye. He said that the whole party stands with its workers and officials.
