Karakoram Highway and Babusar Highway in Gilgit were cleared for traffic on Thursday. Both highways were blocked by landsliding and flooding last night, said the Diamer deputy commissioner.
Tourists who were stuck were provided food and medical help, the official said. They have now left for their destinations, he added.
Karakoram Highway was also blocked due to a landslide last week and was cleared after several days.
