In Pakistan, Child Registeration Certificate is mandatory for all minors to get their fundamental rights. NADRA holds the authority to issue CRC or B-Form for all nationals.
In 2024, NADRA introduced new steps to streamline process for obtaining B-Form for children to facilitate people in getting ID documents for their children.
B-Form is necessary for all legal processes like applying for CNIC, a driver’s license, or getting admission in schools, colleges, and social welfare programs.
As per the rules, parents need to register their children within 3 months of their birth.

In 2024, B-Form can be get by paying Rs50 fee while NADRA also offers executive services at rate of Rs500.

B-Form Application process
- First, you need to visit the nearest NADRA office with the computerized birth certificate of the child, accompanied by either one parent or a court-appointed guardian.
- If both parents are present, one will be the applicant, and the other will act as a verifier.
- If only one parent is available, the application form must be verified by a Gazetted Officer or public representative (MNAs, MPAs, or officials from municipal bodies).
- The presence of the child is mandatory for the identity card.
- Capture the child’s photograph, and fingerprints for children aged 10 and above.
