Ambassador Khazar Farhadov and Mrs Farhadov hosted a reception here to celebrate Victory of Azerbaijan 8 November, marking liberation of Azeri areas that had remained in occupation of Armenia for a long time.
On this occasion, glimpses of liberation struggle were highlighted through film Documentaries. The Documentaries also showed destruction caused by the enemy bombing and shelling. A video recording of Azerbaijan President was played.

The president touched on the background of conflict of Armenia which head resulted from occupation of Azeri lands. Azerbaijan ultimately succeeded in getting vacation of Azeri lands.

Ambassador Khazar Farhadov welcome said his country follows a policy of peace based on UN Charter and international Law.
He said Pakistan and Turkey had always sided with Azerbaijan in its struggle against Armenia’s occupation of Azeri lands.
He said his country is greatly indebted to Pakistan for Islamabad’s. Moral and diplomatic support during the war with Armenia.
He assured Pakistan that Azerbaijan would continue Supporting Pakistans stance on Kashmir that the issue should be resolved in accordance with relevant resolutions of UN Security Council .
Chairman Joint Chefs of Staff Committee General Nadeem Raza Was the chief guest of the function.
Governor Punjab also participated in the function. Political figures from various political parties attended the function. Senior Civil and Military officers as well as diplomats and prominent people graced the occasion.
